He has spoken about open source issues most recently at CeBIT 2007 and at the 2006 Openmind Conference in Finland, where he proposed that open source maximizes ROG (return on giving).     Venkata Ravipati is a director of product management in Oracle Fusion Middleware development. In his current role Ravipati is driving fusion middleware evangelism and go-to-market initiatives. Ravipati has been with Oracle Application server engineering division from inception, and was involved in defining XML web services core runtime functionality. He has strong background in distributed computed technologies like J2EE and SOA. Ravipati holds masters in computer science and engineering, and B.Tech honors from IIT-Kharagpur.

    Ravikanth has been building Eclipse plugns since 2005. He has worked closely with UML2 and GMF in building editors for specific usages. He is presently working on extending these frameworks to the visual tooling space, building modeling tools relevant to the UML2 standards. These tools assist in describing domain specific types for integration in the BPM and Rule Engine product space. Prior to working at Pramati, he has worked on .Net UI tooling at Satyam Computers. Ravikanth holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute Technology.

    Dr G N Shrinivas is an Enterprise Architect at Hewlett Packard’s Global Delivery Application Services (HP GDAS) organisation. As a senior member of the Architecture Council at HP GDAS, Shrinivas heads HP’s SOA Competency Center in Bangalore. In this role, Shrinivas works closely with HP’s WW SOA Program to identify SOA strategies, deliver SOA focused engagements and to broadbase the SOA vision within HP. Shrinivas is an Aeronautical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology at Bombay with a Masters in Aerospace (IIT B) and a Doctorate in Mathematical Sciences from Oxford University. Shrinivas has several publications in reputed international forums (including the IEEE and ASME).

    Alexander von Zitzewitz is acting as managing director of the hello2morrow. He is bringing in more than 20 years of project and manangement experience. In 1993 he founded ootec – a company focussed on project services arround object oriented software technology. This company was sold to the French Valtech group in March 2000 and served customers like Siemens, BMW, Thyssen-Krupp-Stahl and other well known names from the German industry. From 2003 to the beginning of 2005 he was working as director of Central Europe for the French company Xcalia S.A. Besides working for hello2morrow Alexander has a seat in the supervisory board of 7Val AG in Cologne. Alexander has a diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich.
